Accredited training that will
maximise the impact of reading interventions in your school

For all intervention training, I work with school leaders, teachers and teaching assistants to provide pre-course information, live professional development training (in-person or remote), course resources and materials, as well as ongoing post-course support.

The necessary accreditations from Edge Hill University and Leicester City Council are held to deliver these specific reading intervention training courses.

Formerly part of the Every Child Counts suite of interventions, Better Reading Support Partners (BRSP) provides targeted and effective reading support for pupils in Years 1 to 10, combining decoding skills, comprehension strategies and fluency development.

A specially trained teaching assistant or volunteer gives one-to-one support in structured sessions to pupils who have fallen behind in reading.
